Abstract

El 28 de julio de 2010, a trave\x{0301}s de la Resolucio\x{0301}n 64/292, la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas reconocio\x{0301} expli\x{0301}citamente el derecho humano al agua y al saneamiento, reafirmando que un agua potable limpia y el saneamiento son esenciales para la realizacio\x{0301}n de todos los derechos humanos. Sin embargo, el desafío de garantizar un suministro de agua potable y saneamiento saludable, limpio, accesible y asequible para todos es enorme, especialmente para países en vías de desarrollo. Por ello, CAF forjó una alianza estratégica con la ONG Agualimpia para implementar un modelo innovador, flexible y adaptado a las realidades del contexto rural, para la optimizacio\x{0301}n de sistemas de agua potable y fortalecimiento de capacidades comunitarias en 13 localidades rurales del Peru\x{0301}.
