Abstract

Neste Documento-Pai\x{0301}s sa\x{0303}o apresentados os principais resultados para o Brasil no que diz respeito a\x{0300}s caracteri\x{0301}sticas dos sistemas rodovia\x{0301}rio e ferrovia\x{0301}rio, os corredores nacionais e internacionais, a demanda de transporte e as projec\x{0327}o\x{0303}es realizadas, o desempenho comparado, os investimentos, as previso\x{0303}es para 2040 e o portfo\x{0301}lio priorita\x{0301}rio de projetos. O CAF elaborou uma se\x{0301}rie de documentos focados na ana\x{0301}lise integral da infraestrutura do transporte terrestre interurbano latino-americano, descrevendo a situac\x{0327}a\x{0303}o da regia\x{0303}o, calculando as necessidades de investimento no curto e no me\x{0301}dio prazo e identificando projetos priorita\x{0301}rios com alto impacto. Estes documentos sintetizam a situac\x{0327}a\x{0303}o do setor para cada um dos 11 pai\x{0301}ses da Ame\x{0301}rica Latina sob estudo (Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Boli\x{0301}via, Colo\x{0302}mbia, Equador, Me\x{0301}xico, Panama\x{0301}, Paraguai, Peru e Uruguai) e propo\x{0303}em uma estrate\x{0301}gia de atuac\x{0327}a\x{0303}o em virtude da ana\x{0301}lise realizada em cada caso.
