Abstract

Die wesentlichen Kerninhalte der Mikroökonomik in einer pragmatischen und handlungsorientierten Darstellung zu vermitteln, ist die Zielsetzung dieses Buches. Es wendet sich vor allem an die Studenten der Fachhochschulen und der Dualen Hochschule Baden-Württemberg. Ein besonderes Kennzeichen ist die enge Verzahnung von theoretischen Problemstellungen mit wirtschaftspolitischen Anwendungen und mit Aspekten der angewandten Wirtschaftsforschung und Politikberatung. Auf diese Weise soll der Leser ein Bild von der Vielseitigkeit, der Aktualität und nicht zuletzt der Spannung dieses schillernden Teilgebietes der Volkswirtschaftslehre gewinnen. Falls dabei der Eindruck entsteht, dass die Beschäftigung mit ökonomischen Themen Spaß macht, so ist dies durchaus beabsichtigt.
