Abstract

Der dritte Band dieser Reihe vervollständigt die mikroökonomische und die makroökonomische Betrachtung des volkswirtschaftlichen Systemzusammenhangs (Strukturanalyse und Niveauanalyse) um die wichtigen Aspekte der Geldpolitik sowie der internationalen Verflechtung der Volkswirtschaften. Globalisierung und Internationalisierung der Wirtschaft, Zahlungsbilanz und Devisenmarkt sowie die Grundzüge der internationalen Finanzarchitektur werden ebenso thematisiert wie die Frage der Geldschöpfung, die Wirkungsweise der Geldpolitik und die geldpolitischen Instrumente der Europäischen Zentralbank. Nicht zuletzt geht das Buch auch auf die aktuelle Wirtschafts- und Finanzkrise als Ernstfall für die Geldpolitik ein. Denn gerade in Zeiten der Verunsicherung über die weitere wirtschaftliche Entwicklung ist ein gesteigertes Bedürfnis nach Orientierung über den volkswirtschaftlichen Systemzusammenhang feststellbar.
