Abstract

Der Band, eine Zusammenfassung der Jahrestagung der Arbeitsgruppe Wettbewerb des Wirtschaftspolitischen Ausschusses im Verein für Socialpolitik mit dem Thema »Private und öffentliche Kartellrechtsdurchsetzung«, enthält eine Analyse der Möglichkeiten, Grenzen und Wechselwirkungen von privater und öffentlicher Kartellrechtsdurchsetzung. Neben einer theoretischen Auseinandersetzung mit der Bildung von Kartellen enthält der Band vor allem praxisorientierte Beiträge, in denen aus unterschiedlichen Sichtweisen der aktuelle Stand der privaten Kartellrechtsdurchsetzung erläutert wird. Neben der Sichtweise des Bundeskartellamtes finden sich Beiträge aus der Perspektive des juristischen Rechtsbeistandes der durch Kartelle Geschädigten sowie Erfahrungsberichte zu den wettbewerbspolitischen Wirkungen des europäischen und deutschen Kartellrechtes.
