Ländliche Unternehmen in der Volksrepublik China

Abstract

Der vorliegende Band bietet erstmals in deutscher Sprache einen umfassenden Einblick in Risiken und Chancen der ländlichen Industrialisierung in der VR China. In der Auseinandersetzung mit der Literatur zum Thema und unter Einbezug von Ergebnissen einer ausführlichen und detaillierten Feldforschung im Kreis Qingpu (Außenbezirk von Shanghai) setzen sich die verschiedenen Beiträge mit der politischen, ökonomischen und sozialen Rolle der häufig gemeindeeigenen Kollektivbetriebe auseinander, die seit den achtziger Jahren vor allem im Umkreis größerer Städte einen entscheidenden Beitrag zur wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung auf dem Lande geleistet haben. Die zentrale Frage, der die Autorinnen und Autoren - zwei davon aus der VR China - nachgehen, ist die nach der Bedeutung der ländlichen Industrialisierung für die Entwicklung lokaler Autonomie im Kontext einer zentralstaatlichen Ordnung.
