Abstract

A forma como as elites empresariais latino-americanas interagem com os diversos atores estatais e do sistema político revelam muito das estratégias de desenvolvimento seguidas pelos países da região. As conexões políticas do empresariado nacional, moldadas por instituições formais e informais ao logo de trajetórias históricas, tem configurado diferentes arranjos de economia política na América Latina. O livro, organizado pelos pesquisadores Fernanda Cimini, Juan Bachiller e Roberta Rodrigues, reúne contribuições inéditas de especialistas latino-americanos que analisam a trajetória de um país ou de um grupo de países da região, abordando de forma comparada as várias formas de conexão entre elites empresariais, estado e mercado na América Latina.
