Abstract

"Las teorías contemporáneas de desarrollo regional le dan mayor importancia a las políticas de crecimiento económico en cuanto a la oferta, en contraste con las teorías keynesianas tradicionales que enfatizan en el crecimiento en cuanto a la demanda y los gastos del Gobierno. Desde el punto de vista de la oferta, los gobiernos locales deben propiciar el desarrollo creando las condiciones que satisfagan las necesidades básicas de la comunidad y faciliten las actividades económicas privadas."
