Informe sobre movildad social en Nuevo León

Abstract

Por iniciativa del Consejo Nuevo León, el CEEY diseñó y realizó, en el año 2021, la Encuesta ESRU de Movilidad Social en Nuevo León (ESRU-EMOVI Nuevo León). El presente informe muestra los principales resultados de la encuesta. La ESRU-EMOVI Nuevo León 2021 permite identificar los retos de movilidad social al interior de la entidad, así como realizar comparaciones entre la zona metropolitana de la ciudad de Monterrey, su zona periférica y el resto del estado. Que Nuevo León sea un estado, en promedio, con mayor movilidad social en el contexto nacional no implica que su problemática de desigualdad de oportunidades esté resuelta. Al interior del estado las diferencias en movilidad económica son notables: 3 de cada 10 personas que nacen en el estrato económico más bajo en la zona metropolitana se mantienen ahí, versus cerca de 6 de cada 10 en la periferia y el resto del estado.
