Abstract

Una serie de estudios publicados en los últimos años nos han permitido conocer rasgos nacionales de la movilidad intergeneracional de clase, pero existen muy pocos esfuerzos por realizar comparaciones multinacionales. Este libro presenta justamente los resultados de una investigación comparativa sin precedentes, en la que se contrastan los patrones de movilidad de seis países de América Latina: Argentina, Brasil, Chile, México, Perú y Uruguay.Y sin embargo se mueve? es una contribución fundamental para los estudios de movilidad social en América Latina, cuya lectura es indispensable para entender los patrones que rigen la transmisión intergeneracional de la desigualdad en nuestra región.
