Die neue Intrahandelsstatistik ab Januar 2025

Abstract

Im Rahmen der Außenhandelsstatistik wird der Warenverkehr zwischen Deutschland und den anderen Mitgliedstaaten der Europäischen Union durch eine Befragung von Unternehmen erfasst. Neue innovative Verfahren und technischer Fortschritt im Statistischen Bundesamt und auf europäischer Ebene haben es ermöglicht, die Schätzverfahren für fehlende Daten in dieser Erhebung auf eine verbesserte und strukturierte Grundlage zu stellen. Daher steigt ab dem Berichtsmonat Januar 2025 die Genauigkeit der Statistik im Hinblick auf die Detailergebnisse der gehandelten Waren. Zudem legen die neuen Schätzverfahren das Fundament für eine künftige Entlastung der kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen von Bürokratiekosten, die durch Meldepflichten zur Außenhandelsstatistik entstehen.
