Die Aktualisierung des Ortsverzeichnisses und Plausibilisierung des Geburtsstaates im Zensus 2022

Abstract

Für den Zensus 2011 war mit dem Ortsverzeichnis eine Liste mit Ort Staat Kombina tionen aufgebaut worden, welche für die Zuweisung von Geburtsstaaten auf Basis von gelieferten Angaben aus den Melderegistern verwendet wurde. Notwendig war der Aufbau eines Ortsverzeichnisses, weil das Merkmal "Geburtsort - Staat" in den Melderegistern in vielen Fällen entweder nicht befüllt ist oder eine widersprüchliche Information zum gelieferten Geburtsort enthält. In der Begründung zu § 6 Zensus gesetz 2022 ist festgelegt, dass die Daten aus den Melderegistern zur Aktualisierung des Ortsverzeichnisses genutzt werden. Der Artikel beschreibt das methodische Vor gehen bei der Aktualisierung des Ortsverzeichnisses und die Zuweisung von Geburts staaten auf Datensatzebene. Insgesamt wurde mithilfe des Ortsverzeichnisses für über 99 % der Personen ein Geburtsstaat ermittelt.
