Automatisiertes Profiling von Unternehmen – Teil 1: Methodik und Ergebnisse für das Berichtsjahr 2021

Abstract

Das automatisierte Profiling ist ein regelbasiertes Verfahren im Statistischen Bundesamt, um einfache und komplexe Unternehmen innerhalb von Unternehmensgruppen abzugrenzen. Mithilfe der Daten und Merkmale zu Rechtlichen Einheiten aus dem statistischen Unternehmensregister werden statistische Annahmen über die Beziehungen zwischen den Einheiten geprüft. Als maschinelles Verfahren ist es vor allem für kleine und wenig komplexe Unternehmensgruppen vorgesehen und wird ergänzt durch manuelles Profiling, bei dem die Unternehmen durch konzentrierte Einzelfallrecherchen ermittelt werden. Der Beitrag beschreibt die generelle Methodik des automatisierten Profiling (im Einsatz seit dem Berichtsjahr 2018) und präsentiert Ergebnisse aus dem Berichtsjahr 2021. Ein zweiter Aufsatz zu diesem Thema stellt Weiterentwicklungen der Methodik für eine erstmalige Umsetzung im Berichtsjahr 2022 vor.
