Haushalte, Familien und Lebensformen mit Einwanderungsgeschichte - Auswirkungen auf die Erwerbsbeteiligung von Eltern

Abstract

Das Statistische Bundesamt hat seit dem Jahr 2023 im Mikrozensus das Konzept der Einwanderungsgeschichte eingeführt und setzt es nun auch auf der Ebene von Haushalten und Lebensformen um. Der Beitrag stellt zunächst Strukturmerkmale von Haushalten und Lebensformen mit und ohne Einwanderungsgeschichte vergleichend dar. Dabei zeigt sich, dass Haushalte mit Einwanderungsgeschichte größer sind und Familien mit Einwanderungsgeschichte mehr Kinder haben. Davon ausgehend wird die Erwerbstätigkeit von Männern und Frauen sowie Vätern und Müttern mit und ohne Einwanderungsgeschichte betrachtet, ebenso die Arbeitsteilung von Paaren mit und ohne Einwanderungsgeschichte in Bezug auf bezahlte Arbeit.
