Der Pflegearbeitsmarkt im demografischen Wandel – Methodik und Ergebnisse der Pflegekräftevorausberechnung

Abstract

Die steigende Zahl an Pflegebedürftigen und die Diskussion um fehlende Pflegekräfte verdeutlichen die Herausforderungen, vor denen der Pflegearbeitsmarkt aktuell steht. Der demografische Wandel beeinflusst im Bereich der Pflege sowohl den Bedarf als auch das Angebot an Pflegekräften. Welche Auswirkungen hat dies auf den Pflege arbeitsmarkt? Mithilfe einer Vorausberechnung wird eingeschätzt, wie sich die Zahl der Pflegekräfte künftig entwickelt, und mit dem möglichen Verlauf des Bedarfs an Pflegekräften verglichen. Dazu wurden zwei potenzielle Szenarien des Pflegekräfte angebots berechnet. Um die Nachfrage nach Pflegekräften zu quantifizieren, wurde die Entwicklung der Zahl der Pflegebedürftigen und der Krankenhausfälle herangezo gen. Eine Engpassbetrachtung führt schließlich die Ergebnisse zu Angebot und Nach frage zusammen und zeigt den künftigen Mehrbedarf an Pflegekräften auf.
