Haushalte mit drei Generationen

Abstract

Mit der Neuregelung des Mikrozensus ab 2020 erfolgte auch eine Überarbeitung der Ermittlung der Generationenbeziehungen im Haushalt. Danach werden die Generationenbeziehungen nicht mehr in Bezug auf eine Person, die den Haushalt repräsentiert, ermittelt. Vielmehr werden nun alle Haushaltsmitglieder berücksichtigt, um die generative Beziehung des Haushalts zu bestimmen. Der Beitrag erläutert die Umsetzung des modifizierten Konzepts, mit dem das Generationengefüge gemessen wird, und untersucht auf dieser Grundlage Drei-Generationen-Haushalte. Betrachtet werden insbesondere deren Entwicklung im Zeitverlauf sowie soziodemografische Eigenschaften.
