Multifaktorproduktivität in den Volkswirtschaftlichen Gesamtrechnungen

Abstract

Die Produktivität einer Volkswirtschaft ist ein Kennzeichen ihrer Wettbewerbsfähigkeit und zugleich ein entscheidender Faktor für den künftigen materiellen Wohlstand. Dabei steht meist die Arbeitsproduktivität im Fokus. Dieser Artikel beleuchtet ein alternatives Produktivitätsmaß, die Multifaktorproduktivität. Diese ist bislang kein Bestandteil des Veröffentlichungsprogramms der amtlichen Statistik in Deutschland, kann jedoch mit den Daten der Volkswirtschaftlichen Gesamtrechnungen berechnet werden. Ausgehend von der theoretischen Herleitung werden zwei verschiedene Indikatoren für die Multifaktorproduktivität vorgestellt und deren Ergebnisse analysiert, sowohl für die Gesamtwirtschaft als auch für wichtige Teilbereiche.
