Der finanzielle Akzelerator in der monetären Transmission

Abstract

Der finanzielle Akzelerator ist die Grundlage für den so genannten Bilanzkanal in der monetären Transmission. Dieser kann den neoklassischen Zinskanal verstärken. Darüber hinaus wird dem finanziellen Akzelerator eine eigenständige Rolle bei der Ausbreitung konjunktureller Impulse zu geschrieben. Auf welchen theoretischen Grundlagen basiert das Konzept? Wie groß ist die quantitative Bedeutung des finanziellen Akzelerators in der Bundesrepublik?
