Aussagekraft der Auftragseingänge der deutschen Industrie

Abstract

Während der konjunkturellen Aufschwungphase im Zeitraum 2005 bis 2008 koppelten sich in Deutschland die Auftragseingänge von der Industrieproduktion ab. Dagegen näherten sich die beiden Zeitreihen während und nach der aktuellen Wirtschaftskrise wieder an. Dies wirft die Frage auf, ob sich die Vorlaufeigenschaft der Auftragseingänge im Konjunkturverlauf verändert hat und was die Gründe für dieses Phänomen sind. Eine empirische Analyse zeigt, dass die Auftragseingänge ihre Prognosegüte während des Aufschwungs verloren und während der Krise wieder zurückgewonnen haben. Ein im Konjunkturverlauf sich änderndes Bestell- und Stornierungsverhalten, konjunkturbedingt unterschiedliche Outsourcing-Aktivitäten der Unternehmen und intraindustrielle Verlagerungen können als Erklärungen herangezogen werden.
