Finanzierungsoptionen für den globalen Klimaschutz

Abstract

Auf der anstehenden Klimakonferenz in Kopenhagen werden im Dezember 2009 die Weichen für die globale Klimapolitik der Zukunft gestellt. Im Mittelpunkt des öffentlichen Interesses stehen dabei die jeweiligen Verpflichtungen, die Emissionen von Treibhausgasen zu reduzieren. Ein weiterer wichtiger Punkt ist die Frage der Finanzierung von Klimaschutz und der Anpassungen an den Klimawandel – vor allem in den weniger entwickelten Regionen der Welt. Von den Finanzierungsvorschlägen sind aber nur wenige geeignet, die notwendigen Mittel tatsächlich aufzubringen. Zudem sind sie mit erheblichen Belastungen für Deutschland verbunden.
