Betriebliche Weiterbildung 2001: Ergebnisse einer IW-Erhebung

Abstract

Das Institut der deutschen Wirtschaft Köln hat in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Kuratorium der Deutschen Wirtschaft für Berufsbildung insgesamt 1.087 kammerzugehörige Unternehmen zu ihren Weiterbildungsaktivitäten im Jahr 2001 befragt. Demnach blieben auf gesamtwirtschaftlicher Ebene die Aufwendungen der Unternehmen in die Weiterbildung ihrer Mitarbeiter mit knapp 17 Milliarden Euro seit der letzten Erhebung im Jahr 1998 fast konstant. Dabei setzten 97,1 Prozent der an der Erhebung beteiligten Unternehmen betriebliche Weiterbildung in irgendeiner Form ein. Nahezu jeder zweite Mitarbeiter hat daran teilgenommen. Während die Teilnahmequote seit der letzten Erhebung für das Jahr 1998 relativ stabil geblieben ist, gab es bei den Teilnehmerstunden wie auch den Kosten je Mitarbeiter einen Rückgang. Dieser Rückgang wird gesamtwirtschaftlich jedoch kompensiert durch eine gestiegene Erwerbstätigen- und Teilnehmerzahl.
