Es werden in diesem Einleitungsartikel zur IWH-Serie „Produktivitätslücke in Ostdeutschland“ mögliche Einflussfaktoren (z.B. Infrastruktur, Marktzutrittshemmnisse, Spezialisierungsmuster usw.) genannt. Eine Quantifizierung wird nicht vorgenommen.
