Demographie und Konsumstruktur in Deutschland

Abstract

Welche direkten Auswirkungen demographische Veränderungen auf die Konsumnachfrage privater Haushalte haben ist von hoher gesamtwirtschaftlicher Bedeutung, da die qualitative Zusammensetzung der privaten Nachfrage eine auf sie gerichtete Wirtschaftsstruktur nach sich zieht. Entsprechend ändern sich die Anforderungen an das Qualifikationsprofil der Beschäftigten und an die öffentliche Hand, die diesen Strukturwandel begleiten muss.
