Die Probleme der Anderen: Sind Landwirte für den ländlichen Raum zuständig?

Abstract

Der ländliche Raum und die Erwartungen an ihn sind über die Zeit gewandelt. Die Nicht-Stadt-Perspektive auf das Ländliche ist aber geblieben. Der Beitrag argumentiert, dass diese Perspektive nicht nur überholt sondern auch folgenreich für den ländlichen Raum ist. Die Stadt-Land-Dichotomie verfestigt sich in den dualistischen wissenschaftlichen und politischen Konzepten zur Entwicklung ländlicher Räume und führt somit zum ungewollten Verkennen der zivilgesellschaftlichen Rolle der Landwirte und ihrer katalytischen Wirkung für integrierte Förderansätze. Der Beitrag diskutiert die Tragweite der existierenden zivilgesellschaftlichen und politischen Ansätze und erklärt ihre hohe ‚Aktivierungsenergie‘ durch die zwangsläufige Ausblendung der außerökonomischen Bedeutung von landwirtschaftlichen Akteuren.
