Wohnungseigentümer im Quartier: mehr als nur Wohnraumversorgung

Abstract

Das Quartier verliert auch in Zeiten verstärkter Zuwanderung in die Städte nicht an Relevanz. Durch staatlichen Rückzug aus der Stadt- und Quartiersentwicklung werden zukünftig jedoch auch nichtstaatliche Akteure eine zentrale Rolle hinsichtlich lokaler Entwicklungssteuerung einnehmen (müssen). Wohnungseigentümern wird hierbei eine besondere Bedeutung zugeschrieben. Jedoch ist der wissenschaftliche Kenntnisstand über deren Rolle als Bestandsbewirtschafter hinaus noch recht begrenzt und deren Handeln in einem weiteren Quartierskontext noch wenig systematisch beleuchtet worden. Hier setzt der folgende Beitrag an und leistet einen nötigen Beitrag hinsichtlich einer grundlegenden Diskussion über die verschiedenen Formen wohnungswirtschaftlichen Engagements über den Wohnungsbestand hinaus.
