Abstract

Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg wird das dreigliedrige Schulsystem der Weimarer Zeit restauriert. Doch in der bildungspolitischen Aufbruchstimmung der 1960er Jahre kehrt die Strukturfrage auf die politische Agenda zurück. Die integrierte Gesamtschule aber bleibt als Gegenmodell umstritten und ihr gesellschaftlicher Rückhalt begrenzt. So wird sie lediglich eine zusätzliche Schulform neben den anderen.
