Supply Chain Management - eine Führungsaufgabe

Abstract

Eine leistungsfähige, vernetzte Supply-Chain ist ein Grundbaustein der globalisierten Logistikwirtschaft und ein wesentliches Element zur Erhaltung der Durchhaltefähigkeit von Streitkräften in einem Einsatz. Durch die verstärkte Optimierung von Lieferketten und die damit entstehenden immer komplexeren und zeitkritischeren Liefernetze tritt das Supply-Chain-Management immer mehr in den Fokus der zivilen Unternehmensführung sowie der militärischen Führung. Die militärische Supply-Chain oder Versorgungskette trägt zur logistischen Sicherstellung von Einsätzen maßgeblich bei. Das hierfür notwendige Supply-Chain-Management ist daher ein notwendiger Faktor und muss von Beginn an mitbeurteilt und geplant bzw. in weiterer Folge die Durchführung überwacht und gesteuert werden.
