Abstract

New technologies and a more globalized world have driven the creation of new forms of companies that simplify services; the financial field in Ecuador was no exception. The objective of this research is to analyze the evolution and regulation of Fintech companies in Ecuador and other Latin American countries, therefore, it compares Fintech regulation in Ecuador with that of other countries such as Mexico, Peru and Brazil. Fintech, which combines finance and technology, has revolutionized the financial sector by offering innovative services such as crowdfunding, blockchain and digital payments. The methodology used was carried out from a qualitative approach, through a non-experimental design.
