Abstract
This research focuses on the publicinterest in having information about MiPyME, because they constitute the engine of local development in each of the cantons, cities and provinces of the country. In addition to having reference to the participation of the Ecuadorian Financial System in small and medium-sized enterprises that in the long run generate work and wealth, also with the passage of time these become small and medium-sized enterprises to large companies.In the Ecuadorian context, micro and small businesses have a numerical predominance compared to medium and large companies, which are found in a smaller proportion. This study has used documentary, descriptive and quantitative approaches with the purpose of analyzing the financing structure of Small and Medium Enterprises (MiPyME) inEcuador during the year 2022, documents, studies and research were reviewed to obtain a defined conceptualization of financing. of MiPyME. In addition, the conditions to obtain local and national financing will be detailed, as well as the amounts of credits received in general. Statistical data was taken and a comprehensive analysis was carried out based on the information provided by control organizations, such as the Superintendency of Companies, Securities and Insurance, the Superintendence of Banks and the Superintendency of Popular and Solidarity Economy. It was determined that the financing of MiPyMEis essential for the economic development of the country, and recommendations were offered to improve their access to financial resources.
