Abstract
At present, environmental deterioration is a visible problem that affects all countries, there are private firms and developed countries, such as the G7 and the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) that have greater responsibility, 70% of the total global carbon dioxide emissions are attributed to them.It is essential to address the issue of Corporate Social Responsibility, which is made up of environmental / economic, social and corporate governance activities, which can be aligned with the Paris Agreement (2015) and the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030. It is an issue that has been making its way, although it is true that adopting a sustainable business behavior can be expensive, many businessmen mention that being sustainable is profitable, since consumers prefer to buy products or acquire goods in a socially responsible company, since it is a matter of public knowledge the ecosystemdeteriorates irreversibly more every day, due to bad business and individual practices. In Ecuador there are few changes made regarding the issue of sustainability at the country or business level, but there are sectors that have been interested in the change. The Ecuador 2030 Project: productive and sustainable, is an idea that was born from the private sector, to help entrepreneurs or investors interested in having successful changes in terms of their productivity and profitability but hand in hand with Corporate Social Responsibility.
