Methods. Experts’ viewpoints were used to determine language validity of the scale, and factor analysis was used to determine the structural validity of the scale. Cronbach’s α reliability coefficient, item analysis, test–retest analysis were conducted to evaluate the reliability of the scale. Data were collected using the Patient Perception of Hospital Experience with Nursing Care Scale and Socio‐demographic form. Results. It was determined that Patient Perception of Hospital Experience with Nursing Care showed a one‐factor structure, Cronbach’s α reliability coefficient was 0·92 and item–total point correlations were between 0·36–0·74. In addition, it was found that the test–retest correlation value was 0·90, which was found to be statistically significant (p
