Überinflation in Österreich eingedämmt

Abstract

In Österreich stagnierte das reale BIP im II. Quartal 2024. Rückgängen in der Industrie und im Bauwesen stand eine leichte Expansion im Dienstleistungssektor gegenüber. Die Inflationsrate hat sich im Vergleich zum Durchschnitt des Euro-Raumes normalisiert. Die Stimmung in den heimischen Unternehmen ist jedoch äußerst pessimistisch, insbesondere in der Sachgütererzeugung. Sowohl die Arbeitslosigkeit als auch die Beschäftigung nahmen im Vorjahresvergleich zu, letztere vor allem im öffentlichen Sektor und unter Frauen ab 60 Jahren.
