Abstract

Die WIFO-Monatsberichte haben mit dem vorliegenden Heft 12/2017 ihren 90. Jahrgang vollendet. Sie spiegeln in ihrer inhaltlichen und formalen Gestaltung die Verbindung von Kontinuität und Neuem wider, die das WIFO seit seiner Gründung im Jahr 1927 prägt. Wie in einem "Prospekt" für die Institution der Monatsberichte gibt dieser Beitrag Interessierten einen kleinen Einblick in die Geschichte der Monatsberichte, die Struktur der behandelten Themen und die Qualitätssicherungsprozesse, die zur Herstellung dieser Publikation erforderlich sind.
