Europäische Bauwirtschaft kehrt auf Wachstumspfad zurück

Abstract

Nach der Doppelrezession seit der Finanzmarktkrise 2008 verzeichnete die europäische Bauwirtschaft im Jahr 2014 erstmals wieder ein Wachstum. Die Erholung fiel mit +1% im Durchschnitt der 19 Euroconstruct-Länder nicht sehr kraftvoll aus, erfasst aber die meisten Länder. Trotz der weiterhin sehr zaghaften Aufschwungstendenz und angespannter öffentlicher Haushalte wird die Bauwirtschaft in den kommenden Jahren weiter expandieren (2015/2017 knapp über +2%). Für Österreich prognostiziert das Forschungsnetzwerk Euroconstruct 2015 eine Steigerung um 1,0% und 2016 um 1,3%, die beträchtlich unter dem europäischen Durchschnitt bleibt.
