Schwaches Wirtschaftswachstum dämpft 2013 Privatversicherungsgeschäft

Abstract

Die Versicherungsdurchdringung verharrte 2013 auf niedrigem Niveau. Bestimmend dafür waren weiterhin der Rückgang der Prämieneinnahmen in der Lebensversicherung und ein unterdurchschnittlicher Zuwachs in der Schaden-Unfallversicherung. Erste Vertragsabreifungen und ein flaues Neugeschäft verstärkten die Abwärtsbewegung der Prämieneinzahlungen in die prämienbegünstigte Zukunftsvorsorge. Das anhaltend niedrige Niveau der Renditen auf dem Kapitalmarkt verhinderte trotz steigender Kapitalanlagen ein Anwachsen des Überschusses aus der Finanzgebarung. Die Umsetzung der EU-Richtlinie "Solvency II" wurde auf Jänner 2016 verschoben; Österreich wird allerdings einige Maßnahmen aus der zweiten und dritten Säule von Solvency II bereits ab 2014 umsetzen.
