Abstract

Die weltweite Nachfrageschwäche, insbesondere in den Industrieländern, dämpft den Welthandel und die Produktion. In den USA sind Ausrüstungsinvestitionen und Exporte rückläufig. Japans Industrie steht unter dem Druck der diplomatischen Verstimmung mit China. In China selbst kühlt die Konjunktur weiter ab. Der Produktionsrückgang setzte sich in der EU zuletzt nicht fort, insbesondere in den Krisenländern an der Peripherie des Euro-Raumes stabilisierte sich die Lage vorerst. In vielen Ländern bleibt die Arbeitslosigkeit außerordentlich hoch. Die Refinanzierungsbedingungen der Euro-Länder entspannten sich weiter, der Kapitalabfluss in Drittländer ist jedoch noch nicht gestoppt. Im Inland rechnen die Unternehmen mit einer Stagnation der Produktion und einem Beschäftigungsrückgang. Die Arbeitsmarktlage kühlte sich zuletzt ab. Die Inflation stieg im September merklich.
