Lohnentwicklung und Lohnunterschiede in der Industrie seit 2000

Abstract

Auswertungen der Lohn- und Gehaltsstatistiken der österreichischen Industrie zeigen für die Periode 2000/2010 Unterschiede zwischen der Lohndriftentwicklung der Arbeiter und Arbeiterinnen bzw. der Angestellten. Während die Überzahlungssätze für Arbeiter und Arbeiterinnen in der Industrie dem langfristigen Trend folgend weiter sanken, stiegen jene der Angestellten. Gleichzeitig verlagerte sich die Beschäftigungsstruktur deutlich zugunsten der Angestellten, was als Hinweis für eine Veränderung der Qualifikationsstruktur in der Industrie gewertet werden kann. Das Reallohnwachstum war in der Industrie höher im Durchschnitt aller Wirtschaftssektoren.
