Unterschiedliche Einflüsse beschleunigen Wachstum in den MOEL

Abstract

2004 beschleunigte sich das Wirtschaftswachstum in fast allen MOEL beträchtlich. Überwiegend war es von einer robusten Expansion der Binnennachfrage getragen. Die neuen EU-Länder profitierten auch von der relativ guten Konjunktur in der EU 15, die EU-Beitrittskandidatenländer Bulgarien und Rumänien von der Steigerung der Zuflüsse an ausländischen Investitionen. In den westlichen Balkanländern erhöhte sich die politische Stabilität, und die Aussichten für die EU-Integration verbesserten sich. Russland und die Ukraine schließlich waren vor allem durch die hohen Weltmarktpreise von Energie und Metallen begünstigt.
