Abstract

Österreichs Unternehmen investieren – so die wirtschafts- und technologiepolitische Kritik – zuwenig in Forschung und Entwicklung. Die Ergebnisse des vom WIFO durchgeführten Community Innovation Survey (CIS) zeichnen ein deutlich positiveres Bild. Insbesondere die Bereitschaft zu Produkt- und Prozeßinnovationen und das Ergebnis des Innovationsprozesses sind in Österreich beachtlich. Die Forschungs- und Entwicklungsausgaben sind in den letzten Jahren kräftig gestiegen.
