Abstract

As organizations face an increasingly expending data landscape, the selection and implementation of effective data modeling techniques plays a crucial role in shaping successful data warehousing strategies. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the details of data modeling methods, with a special focus on the Data Vault approach. The case study was conducted by the interview method with data professionals, where the objective is to gather some valuable insights into design considerations, challenges, scalability and performance and adaptability. In conclusion, this paper offers a comprehensive perspective on optimizing data warehousing through a synergy of advanced data modeling techniques, specifically Data Vault, and the judicious application of interview methodology. The insights presented aim to guide researchers, practitioners, and organizations towards more effective and user-oriented data modeling practices in the constantly evolving landscape of data management.
