Abstract

The present research focuses on the initial effects of the COVID-19 crisis on the regional social and economic development of European Union-27 countries. For this purpose, a set of indicators have been selected and analyzed, with the help of which the consequences of the pandemic are traced. In this way, it is possible to highlight both the similarities and also the differences that exist between the individual regions.
