Abstract

The introduction of good agricultural practices and their role in protecting biodiversity in agricultural lands is constantly increasing. The policy of the European Union regarding the protection of the environment and natural resources has gained increasing importance since the 1980s. More and more people understand the danger and take measures for more decisive actions regarding the protection of the environment at the national and European level. Therefore, an important place in the Common Agricultural Policy is devoted to issues related to sustainable management and protection of the quality of lands, waters, good management of organic fertilization, the use of wastewater from agricultural activity, from silages and rational use of inorganic fertilizers.
