Abstract

The agribusiness sector plays a key role in the global economy and its competitiveness is paramount to ensuring food security and sustainable development. This report explores the dynamic relationship between agribusiness clusters and innovation networks as key drivers of competitiveness within the agricultural sector. Agribusiness clusters, characterised by geographical proximity and collaborative synergies, serve as hubs for innovation, knowledge exchange and resource sharing among industry stakeholders. Innovation networks, on the other hand, facilitate the flow of ideas, technologies and best practices by promoting continuous improvement and adaptability.
