Abstract

The report examines the main approaches in the migration policy implemented by the European Union member states at the beginning of the third decade of the 21st century. A place is also devoted to the definition of the concept of "mediation", its distinction from other similar concepts, and the process of mediation procedures. The specifics of mediation procedures in migration processes are also reflected. Attention is paid to the main causes that lead to conflicts between the population of host countries and migrants, as well as examples of specific mediation techniques in disputes involving migrants.
