Abstract

Ensuring the high quality of mediation and its acceptance by society as a possible way to resolve disputes also depends on the training and skills of mediators conducting mediation in judicial and non-judicial centers. The standards to be followed by all training organizations approved by the Minister of Justice to conduct certification training in mediation will ensure the acquisition of uniform mediation knowledge and skills. In our country, no state training standards have been introduced for mediation training besides the legally regulated requirements for the training program's content. This poses a number of questions for the practical implementation of mediation training by the various training organizations and for the verification of their activities by the Minister of Justice.
