Abstract

The study focuses on options for handling digitized library content corresponding to the modern consumer expectations. In particular we have in mind the possibility of full text search in digital archive. Numbers of academic institutions in our country in recent years with help of projects funded by the European Union are purchased robotic scanners. As a result, thousands of books have been scanned. Digitized units are usually available by special terminals located in the reading rooms of the local libraries. Despite the positive effects of digitization, there is a delay on posibilities of using this information.
