Coordonate Ale Şocurilor Asimetrice În Zona Monetară

Abstract

Optimizarea unei zone monetare, în sensul unei funcţionări viabile pe termen lung, se fundamentează pe capacitatea acesteia de a gestiona şocurile asimetrice care tind să se propage în interior. Un şoc macroeconomic comun propagat în cadrul tuturor subsistemelor poate fi asimetric în privinţa intensităţii, duratei, amplitudinii, precum şi a vitezei de manifestare în mediile care alcătuiesc sistemul. Această asimetrie este determinată de eterogenităţile structurale, instituţionale şi comportamentale din cadrul statelor sau al regiunilor care compun acea uniune. Pe de altă parte, se poate ca şocul asimetric să reprezinte un factor pozitiv al procesului integrării monetare. Colaborarea dintre regiunile zonei monetare ar putea face dintr-un şoc asimetric iniţial, un factor de coeziune, de convergenţă a regiunilor.
