L’extension de l’assurance santé privée : une stratégie inégalitaire et inefficace

Abstract

La privatisation du soin en Europe se traduit par le transfert de charge de l’assurance publique vers l’assurance privée et fait de la santé l’un des nouveaux moteurs du développement du capitalisme. Elle est nourrie par la théorie économique de l’assurance santé qui fait de la couverture publique une incitation perverse alors que l’assurance privée serait de nature à mieux responsabiliser le malade. Cette stratégie est non seulement inégalitaire. Elle est aussi inefficace quand elle active des dépenses nouvelles.
