La rotation des grands PDG : valse hésitation ou ronde profitable ?

Abstract

"Beaucoup d’articles scientifiques utilisent la formule ""valse des dirigeants"" sans voir que cette expression recouvre deux acceptions. La première est une valse-hésitation entre le choix de licencier le PDG ou de le garder encore un peu. La seconde est un emballement du rythme de la rotation des grands dirigeants sous la pression de rémunérations attractives. Nous essayons ici de situer les deux phénomènes en fonction de la conjoncture depuis quinze ans. Avant la crise de 2008 la valse-hésitation avait tendance à freiner la rotation et ensuite la ronde profitable est venue accélérer la réduction du temps moyen de présence."
