Economic heritage of Salamanca school: Recognition and relationsship with other schools

Abstract

Analysis of the economic dimension of Salamanca School, to evaluate its condition as a school of economic thought and why the mainstream or orthodox vision tends to omit it. Also, its heritage and relationship with other schools are studied, specially, those considered heterodox schools, which make up the mainline or fundamentals vision. According to Salamanca School, as the Spanish Economic School, it is possible to understand the transition from Moral Economy to Political Economy and the awakening of economic theory with a universal pretention
